A winless run stretching back almost three years was ended on Monday as Victoria sealed a dramatic 9-8 victory over local rivals Dick Whittington.
Victoria lifted the Watford and District Darts League title in May 2011 but had failed to win in the 31 months since.
Star man Daniel Muskett decided to use his old darts in a bid to turn his team’s fortunes around and it worked as he won four of his five legs.
Muskett also hit the all-important double two to seal the match.
