Kings Langley continued their quest for the South Midlands Division One title on Tuesday night as they thrashed Chesham United Reserves 5-1.

Kings got off to their customary quick start and Paul Insley opened the scoring five minutes in as he struck after a good pass from Lee Burgoyne.

United equalised via Will Orchard but Langley went on to add two more goals before the interval.

Gary Connolly grabbed the second after he rounded off a neat move between Insley and Alex Campana and then Craig Preston found the back of the net as a corner wasn’t dealt with by Chesham’s defence.

Campana then took centre stage in the second period and he fired home a brace to round off victory for Kings whose match on Saturday against Winslow United was postponed.

Sun Postal Sports’ title quest was put on hold at the weekend as their home match against Southall was called off.
