Belstone's Herts Senior County League Premier Division title hopes were dented on Sunday after they suffered a 1-0 defeat against Whitwell.
The result leaves Belstone fourth in the table but they can move back into second place if they win their two games in hand.
A number of matches fell victim to the weather at the weekend. Bush Hill Rangers versus Bovingdon, Chipperfield Corinthians trip to Hinton, Mill End Sports home game against Bedmond Sports & Social Club, Bushey SC’s match against Sandridge Rovers and Sarratt’s clash against Knebworth were all postponed.
Old Parmiterians’ Division One match at Kimpton Rovers did go ahead and it was the visitors who celebrated victory as they ran out 4-0 winners.
Evergreen’s clash against Panshanger was called off as was Bushey Rangers’ FA Intermediate Cup fourth round tie against Harvesters 2012.
