Dixon's top half finish at Cross Country Championships
Watford Joggers' Dave Dixon recorded a top half finish at the Southern Counties Cross Country Championships on Saturday.
The club had a total of five runners at the event and Dixon led them home with a time of 1.07.38 which was enough to take 439th position.
Colin Taylor was Joggers’ second man across the line as he recorded 1.10.07 and that sealed 531st place.
Also completing the course for the club was Joshua Worthington (1.18.03), Brian James (1.18.50) and Huw Hamer (1.23.59).
At the 5k park runs, Mark Nicholls (29.13) and Susan Defore (29.13) took in the St Albans event while James Gamble clocked 21.09 at the Gunpowder run in Waltham Abbey.
