There is one week remaining for schools and other educational establishments to register so their students can enter the Watford Observer Young Sports Writer of the Year Awards.

Kings Langley School have become the first school to register for the awards, which have been organised and are being run in association with the Watford & Three Rivers and Watford & Hertsmere school sports partnerships.

Registration details have also been received from the parents of home-educated youngsters, who are also eligible for the awards as long as they satisfy the other entry criteria.

The deadline for registration is next Friday and details of how schools can sign up, along with how the awards work can be found by clicking here.
