Having managed so far through the tapestry of life, I have always been a disciple of man’s best friend. The joys of his or her tail wagging when you get home when all is against you stirs your heart with self belief in time of need.

Not to mention my other version of the diversity of nature, my cat. No welcome from him. He does not act the same, but he jumps on my knees while I am watching television then proceeds to purr his head off. A sure sign of compatibility with his environment and his human friend not master.

I would imagine that all animal lovers, and there are a lot of us around, will share my feelings.

Sadly I see a lack of such loyalty, honesty and genuine affection from not all, but some of my fellow human beings.
