Oxhey Jets' recent revival continued on Saturday as Wayne Gladdy’s side completed a 3-1 win against AFC Dunstable in the Premier Division.

It took just two minutes for Jets to break the deadlock. Lee Armitt picked out Dom David with a clever pass and he crossed for Adam Lowton who fired home at the back post.

The opening 45 minutes was an even contest but Dunstable almost pulled a goal back on the stroke of half time but Will Baker did well to keep Oxhey’s lead intact.

Ten minutes after the restart, Jets doubled their advantage as Armitt again provided an inviting cross and Joseph Kelly was on hand to net his first goal for the club.

Despite their lead, Gladdy’s men continued to push forward and they were rewarded with a third goal as Ashley Fongho delivered an outstanding pass for Armitt and he confidently finished.

Kelly was dismissed late into the game after receiving a second yellow card and there was a late consolation goal for the home side as James Bishop struck.

However, Jets saw out the match to collect an important three points and make it three wins from their last four games.
