An 'away' fixture with Chesham in the second division of the Southern League took place, perversely, at Cassio Road.
Chesham's ground had been closed by the FA because of recent crowd trouble, and the Buckinghamshire side agreed to fulfil the outstanding fixture at Watford.
Johnny Hill, Charlie Hare and Bobbie Slaughter got the goals in a 3-2 Watford win.
