January loan signing Daniel Tozser was the Hornets' man of the match in the 1-0 win over Birmingham City, according to the Watford Observer's poll.

Tozser, who last month joined the Golden Boys on loan until the end of the season, has started the team's last three matches and remains unbeaten in a Watford shirt.

The 28-year-old has looked assured anchoring the Hornets' midfield trio and produced another confident display against Birmingham to win 36 per cent of the man-of-the-match vote.

Marco Cassetti came a close second, earning 27 per cent of the vote for a composed performance at the heart of Watford's back three.

Lloyd Doyley replaced the injured Joel Ekstrand after 18 minutes and did enough on his 428th appearance for the club to take 20 per cent of the selections.

Goalscorer Troy Deeney was next most popular with 13 per cent while 4 per cent of voters selected 'Other'.
