Watford will have a game in hand on almost all of the other Championship sides until the final week of the season after the Charlton fixture was rescheduled for April 29.
The Hornets were due to travel to the Valley on March 8 but the Addicks' win at Sheffield Wednesday last night means they will not be in FA Cup quarter-final action that weekend.
The Golden Boys will now face Charlton on Tuesday, April 29 (kick-off 7.45pm) which makes the fixture their second last of the regular season.
That date was selected because the week of April 29 is Charlton's only free midweek between now and the end of the 2013/14 campaign due to other postponements.
