Beppe Sannino said it was not right moment to discuss the play-offs following the Hornets’ 4-0 win against Blackpool.

Watford breezed past their opponents at Vicarage Road yesterday afternoon thanks to braces from Troy Deeney and Mathias Ranegie.

It is a result which puts Watford seven points off a play-off spot and Sannino, who travelled back to Italy last night to visit his family, said after yesterday’s game: “I fly back to Italy at half past nine. We have two days off now so I am only thinking about my flight, no more than this.

“After 70 days away from my home I will not think about it. When I am back in Watford on Tuesday, then I will think about the future.”

He added: “I don’t think it is the moment to speak about the play-offs. But I keep part of England with me when I go to Italy, my suit is English and lined with yellow and red for Watford, perfect.”
