Hornets boss Beppe Sannino has been nominated for the Championship manager for the month award for February.

The Watford head coach guided his side to 11 points from six games last month with wins coming against Brighton & Hove Albion, Birmingham City and Middlesbrough.

The Hornets also kept four clean sheets and claimed an impressive 2-2 draw with league leaders Leicester City at the King Power Stadium.

Sannino is up against former Hornets manager Sean Dyche whose Burnley side are challenging for automatic promotion.

Wigan Athletic boss Uwe Rosler and Derby County manager Steve McClaren have also been nominated for the award.

Don't worry, HC, it will be Dyche or, most likely, Rosler. For those that subscribe to the curse theory, Rosler would be a better bet for us!

Can't wait to here Sannino's acceptance speech! Unlike the Oscars should be quite brief. If he is not learning English probably not staying beyond the summer. Pity as the guy hasn't put a foot wrong so far and seems effective - much like Dyche. Luv the Horns!

Not a foot wrong apart from deciding a draw against the side bottom of the league is a good result

Yep agreed... Uwe should definitely be given manager of the month.

Does anyone else think that Beppe looks like Uncle Festa?
