SANMI Odelusi has been tipped to stay at MK Dons until the end of the season.

Despite making only two substitute appearances for the League One side since his loan move a fortnight ago, the 20-year-old has already won over some of his new club’s fans.

It is currently planned that he will remain at stadium:mk for another couple of weeks but Dons boss Karl Robinson has been urged to secure the versatile striker’s services for longer.

Odelusi made a handful of appearances at the start of this season for Wanderers, scoring twice against Shrewsbury in the Capital One Cup, but had dropped down the pecking order over the last few months.

And the youngster says he is enjoying his first taste of football outside the Reebok, despite some indifferent results on the pitch.

“Everyone’s welcomed me and I’m enjoying how the gaffer works,” he said.

“There isn’t much difference between the Championship level and League One.

“I would say it’s a bit more physical in League One whereas the Championship is a bit more technical.”

“Dons are a fantastic club and I want to work hard in training and do well for the team.”
