There was a strong contingent of Watford Joggers at the Berkhamsted half marathon on Sunday and Dave Dixon led the team home with a new personal best time.
Dixon crossed the line in 1.24.42 and the second Jogger across the line was Colin Taylor in 1.28.35.
Josh Worthington returned with a time of 1.44.32 while David Lees posted 1.52.09. Keith Taylor (1.57.12), Jane Welch (2.01.50) and Kika Watford (2.19.32) also completed the distance.
A total of ten runners tackled the five mile event. Clare Bonnick was first home in (39.44) and second was Ian Bonnick in 43.33.
Marcia Quinn (45.54), Jane Richmond (45.55), Julie McQueen (45.55), Katerina Fellas (48.10), Nigel Higgs (50.44), Andy Lord (51.00), Chris Roberts (53.41) and Carol Higgs (55.12) also crossed the line.
Meanwhile, eight Joggers travelled to Reading for a half marathon and several runners returned from the event with personal bests.
Stuart Borill clocked a new PB of 1.39.32 and Mark Nicholles (1.42.02) also set a new personal best time.
Huw Hamer was timed at 1.44.47 while Tom Harland set a new PB of 1.48.57. Marin Durcan (1.50.14), Victoria Sylvester (1.50.32), Manisha Gajjar (1.50.34) and Sarah Harland (2.01.41) also completed the distance.
