Who should start up front for Watford at Doncaster Rovers?

Presuming Fernando Forestieri is fit enough to feature at Doncaster Rovers as suggested, then Beppe Sannino has a mini selection dilemma tonight when it comes to the striking positions.

Forestieri has been one of the Hornets' best performers this season and his selection appeared to be almost inevitable before his recent hamstring injury, and following the departure of Diego Fabbrini.

Forestieri had netted three times in his previous five matches before missing the last three games and Troy Deeney has also been an almost certain pick for most of this season.

Deeney has admitted his form has dipped at times this campaign but his recent record of four goals in five outings has seen him take his tally for the season to 16.

The 25-year-old netted twice in his last outing when he was partnered by January signing Mathias Ranegie.

Ranegie arrived at Vicarage Road with an injury and spent the first few weeks at the club regaining full fitness. But he impressed in his first home start in the club's last fixture, scoring twice during the 4-0 win against Blackpool.

So with all three now fit, and Chu-Young Park injured, who should Sannino opt for at Doncaster Rovers tonight? Do Deeney and Ranegie deserve another chance to partner each other? Or should Forestieri return?

Take part in our ballot and discuss your decision in the comment section below.

If Park wasn't injured, you'd have to change it up and play Forestieri in the hole. As he is, it is too much of a risk starting all 3. Ranegie and Deeney played very well together but so have Deeney and Forestieri recently, looking like a partnership. For me, it would be Deeney and Ranegie to start to wear down the defence then bringing FF on mid way through the 2nd half to take advantage if the game is going that way.

Agreed. Don't think it's going to happen though. Saninno is cautious by nature, can't see him changing from 3-5-2 for this one.

Simple - don't make unnecessary changes to a team that just won 4-0.

Would like to see the three of them but more realistic is that Renegie will start with Deeney. Would be incredibly unfair to drop a 'two goals in the last game man'. Fernando will have to earn his place back.

why not start with all 3 of them up front? Surely with that sort of threat, we're bound to score quite a few goals? Get the defence to stay with a flat-back 4, then boss the middle of the park.

Yes, a fine idea

Mickey Quinn, not so thin says...

Cant see all 3 playing, esp if we are playing 5 at the back.
Goals would flow at both ends and that's not really Beppe's style is it ?

We know only too well what happens when you play the same formation all the time, other teams have time to practice how to contain us. So its a no brainer for me FF behind the other two. Come on Beppe show a little imagination!

Like any other team would do....put the player coming back from injury on the bench. It does make me laugh when us fans pick 3 or 4 forwards upfront. It's why we aren't in charge and get thumped every week. Any way I'm off now to Donny...0-2, I reckon. COYH!

Think this will be tough game both reams need the points for different reasons. For me I wold play T D and M R and bring FF on at the hour mark .If all goes to plan I can see another 3 or four goals . This may seem a contradiction to my first statement but I think it maybe one of those games that if we score early they may fold but I don't expect them to lay over and die Blackpool style.
