Vicarage Celtic claimed their biggest win of the season as they defeated Croxley Community Reserves 12-0 in West Herts League Division Two.

The deadlock was broken in the third minute as Michael Crowley’s strike was deflected past the goalkeeper and Connor Flanagan doubled the advantage soon after as his low shot found the net.

Josh Squire Adams added a third and man-of-the-match Tom Deveraux struck. Flanagan scored Celtic’s fifth from the penalty spot and Mark Hunt notched the sixth just before the interval.

The scoring continued in the second period. Flanagan rounded the goalkeeper to complete his hat-trick and Jamie Gallagher headed home from a long throw by Crowley.

Hunt sealed his brace after breaking through and finishing and substitute Michael McManamon scored the tenth with his first kick of the game.

Two late goals from Deveraux saw him clinch a treble and round off and impressive victory.

Celtic will look to continue their goal scoring form when they take on Oxhey Jets B on Saturday.
