Watford have major problems in the attacking department ahead of Saturday after Fernando Forestieri confirmed he suffered a toe injury last night.
Forestieri posted a picture on micro-blogging site Twitter last night which indicated he had stitches on the little toe of his left foot.
And this evening he posted a picture where he was on crutches with a message saying he was in Tesco buying a new toe.
If Forestieri doesn't recover in time then Watford could be left with just one recognised striker against Barnsley on Saturday.
Arsenal loanee Chu-Young Park has a thigh injury and Mathias Ranegie has been given a three-match suspension following his red card last night.
First-year professionals Bernard Mensah and Uche Ikpeazu are on loan at Braintree Town and Crewe Alexandra respectively and academy striker Alex Jakubiak has also joined Braintree.
