In their first match for two months, Kings Langley Ladies were beaten 16-0 by Bishops Stortford Ladies in Beds & Herts County Women’s League Division Two.
Stortford made the most of poor marking to score from three corners.
Kings were then reduced to eight players due to injuries as the game progressed and the hosts cranked up the tempo to score eight goals in the last quarter of the match as Kings’ lack of match fitness and players was ruthlessly exploited.
Kings will be looking to bounce back this Sunday when they entertain Sherrardswood Ladies.
