West Herts Golf Club is offering free lessons on Saturday in an attempt to encourage more people to try the sport.
Between the hours of 2pm to 4pm, the club are giving a free taster session with the club's professional, as well as the opportunity to meet members, who will show off the club’s facilities and answer questions about West Herts.
The event, which is supported by Herts Golf Partnership and England Golf, is open to adults of all ages and levels of ability.
The Rickamansworth club based at Cassiobury Park are happy to lend golf clubs at no cost and refreshments will also be freely available to those who attend.
The club offers a programme designed for beginners and those inexperienced with or returning to the sport.
