Watford are in talks with some of their players who are out of contract this summer but Lloyd Doyley is the only one who has agreed terms.
The Watford Observer understands Doyley signed his new deal this week and it is believed to be another one-year contract.
There are nine Watford players out of contract in July; Manuel Almunia, Gary Woods, Marco Cassetti, Doyley, Fitz Hall, Lucas Neill, Nyron Nosworthy, Ross Jenkins and Luke O'Nien.
On Tuesday, chief executive Scott Duxbury confirmed Doyley was set to sign a new contract and added: "There are discussions with other players but Lloyd is the only player who is about to sign so far."
