Watford face one of the toughest tests of the season as they travel to in-form side Wigan Athletic this weekend.

Uwe Rosler’s side dumped Manchester City out of the FA Cup earlier this month and were on an eight match winning run prior to their 3-3 draw against Yeovil Town on Tuesday night.

Their recent success certainly justifies Wigan's price as 5/6 favourites with Paddy Power.

Watford have struggled away from home where they have failed to win in the last 13 matches. This record means it is hard to make a case for the Hornets, even at 16/5 with Coral.

But four of the last five league meetings have resulted in a draw, including the last two in Wigan, so there may well be some mileage in backing this at 5/2 with Betfred.

Wigan’s defence was exposed against Yeovil and the Hornets are fancied to find the net at the DW Stadium.

It could be a better way of backing a home win as a Wigan victory, with both teams to score, is a generous 19/5 with Coral.
