Chloe McCarthy added another title to her ever-growing collection with victory in the Under-17 women’s 300m at the Hertfordshire Indoor Athletic Championships.
McCarthy crossed the line in first in a new indoor personal best time of 40.76 and then went on to secure silver in the Under-17 women’s 200m.
Meanwhile, Harriers had a small group of athletes in action at the County Veterans Cross Country Championships.
Tony Golds secured gold in the over-70 men’s race, Caroline Whittaker was fourth in the ladies’ event, Angela Halford was fifth and Moira Craft was sixth.
In the 40 to 59 men’s race, Matt Adcock was unable to defend his title and had to settle for silver.
