Jets continue to move away from drop zone
Oxhey Jets continue to move up the Spartan South Midlands Premier Division table. On Tuesday night they played out a 0-0 draw with high-flying Colney Heath.
Colney had the ball in the net early on but the goal was disallowed for offside. Jets were then reduced to ten men after just 20 minutes as Luke Beardsworth was shown a second yellow card.
However, Oxhey defended well throughout the contest to earn a share of the points.
On Saturday, Jets recorded a 1-0 win against Hoddesdon Town thanks to a goal from Adam Lowton.
