Watford Ladies Under-18s suffered a disappointing 6-1 home defeat to Harvesters Yellows with Julia Waller converting from the penalty spot for the Hornets’ only goal.

In contrast, the Under-16 Wasps celebrated a 3-1 victory over rivals Garston Ladies Sharks.

Wasps battled back from going one down and two goals from Sammy Green and another from Carly Gilbey gave them a satisfying victory over their neighbours.

The Under-16 Hornets also notched up a decisive win as they beat Bishops Stortford 5-1.

Katie Harris opened the scoring for Watford in the first half but Stortford equalised soon afterwards.

The Hornets dominated the second half though, and their hard work was rewarded with a hat-trick for Megan Warner and a single for Sofie Georgiou.

Meanwhile, the Under-14 Wasps fielded a depleted team but managed to hold Bedwell Rangers to a 1-1 draw with Angel Frost getting the goal in a highly competitive match.

Watford’s Under-12 Harts put six past St Albans and moved five points clear at the top of Division One.

Two for Connie Woodward and Amy Ryan and further goals for both Jessica Gough and Roma Agnihotri gave the Hornets an emphatic 6-0 win.

The Under-10s fought an evenly-matched contest at home against Borehamwood 2000.

Jessica Cripps grabbed two before Carys Harvey netted a superb strike from close to the halfway line for the win.
