Watford entertained Southampton in a relegation battle at Vicarage Road.
The home side appeared to have secured a valuable 2-1 victory before the visitors' Jan-Paul Saeijs scored a remarkable 30-yard free-kick to equalise with a minute to play.
In replacing Tamas Priskin a minute earlier, Andrei Stepanov set a new record; his is the briefest Watford career of any player to have made it onto the pitch.
