Bedmond Sports & Social Club suffered Anagram Trophy semi-final disappointment after they lost out to Galleywood 6-5 on penalties on Saturday.

The game was goalless at the interval but Gary Sippetts struck in the second period for Bedmond. However, it wasn’t enough and after 90 minutes, and extra-time, the match was settled from the spot.

But it was Galleywood who held their nerve to secure victory and advance to the final.

They followed this up on Tuesday night in the Premier Division with a 2-1 win at Bush Hill Rangers.

Belstone remain in the Premier Division title hunt after they recorded maxiumum points from two games this week.

Goals from Jamie Arthur (2) and Darren Turner gave them a 3-0 victory over Mill End Sports on Saturday and they went one goal better three days later, beating Bovingdon 4-0 thanks to a Lawrence Yaku brace and further efforts from Turner and a 35-yard strike from Danny Tilbury.

Bovingdon had previously claimed a much-needed win as a goal from Josh Bundey secured a 1-0 win against Bush Hill Rangers at the weekend.

Bushey Sports Club sit in mid-table but they produced a good display to overcome bottom of the table Knebworth 3-1.

Jamie Hurst, Dean Williams and Kory Dwyer all found the net for Bushey while Carl Smith grabbed the Knebworth reply.

However, they were unable to follow this up on Tuesday as they lost 2-0 at Sandridge Rovers.

Sarratt were beaten 1-0 by Cuffley after Jake Grant netted in the second half while a goal from Matt Chapman was only a consolation for Chipperfield Corinthians as they were beaten 3-1 by Hinton.

There was a scrappy game in Division One but Evergreen clinched a 3-2 win against AFC Hatfield.

Curtis Donaldson and Chris Blunden struck in the opening period and Evergreen went into the break 2-1 in front.

Hatfield levelled the contest in the second half but a goal from Blunden sealed victory for Evergreen.

Old Parmiterians secured only their third league win of the season as they overcame Cheshunt Ambers 3-1.

James Booth (2) and Josh Towle both found the net for Parmiterians while Aidan Richardson scored for Cheshunt.

A goal from Brima Johnson earned Bushey Rangers a 1-1 draw with Lemsford.
