Watford are favourites to pick up three points at relegation-threatened Millwall in the Championship this weekend.

The Hornets’ improved recent form sees them on offer at a best price of 13/8 with Ladbrokes to claim victory at the Den.

Beppe Sannino’s side ended their 14-match winless away run recently with a 4-1 thrashing of Sheffield Wednesday which should send them into this clash with plenty of confidence.

Watford have lost just one of the last seven clashes against the Lions and have also won four of the last six trips to South London so backing the Hornets looks worthwhile.

Ian Holloway’s side are currently third bottom so their need for victory is greater than the visitors. Millwall have picked up vital wins at Nottingham Forest and Wigan Athletic in the last week so this suggests 9/5 with William Hill is certainly not the worst bet on offer.

But Millwall have just one home win in ten games and have gone seven matches at the Den without victory so the crowd could get on their backs if they make a slow start.

Ikechi Anya scored in the 4-0 win over Millwall in December and against Leeds so he looks a tempting price at 9/2 with Betfred to net again.
