Watford midfielder Cristian Battocchio and Lloyd Doyley are in contention for Saturday’s visit from Ipswich Town.

Battocchio injured his knee following a heavy challenge against Burnley a fortnight ago, missing the Hornets’ last two matches as a result.

And Doyley is back in training and fit to return after twisting his ankle in March.

But winger Ikechi Anya suffered an Achilles contusion at Millwall on Saturday and is rated as doubtful.

Facing the prospect of two matches in three days, head coach Beppe Sannino has said he is likely to make some changes over the Easter weekend in order to keep the side fresh.

Earlier this week it was revealed Arsenal loanee Chu-Young Park was unlikely to play for Watford again this season and the Hornets' head of medical confirmed that was likely to be the case.

Park is currently undergoing treatment in South Korea for the skin infection Cellulitis on his toe in a race to be fit for the World Cup this summer.

Park’s international manager Hong Myung-bo said on Monday: “Park is quickly regaining his form. But it will be difficult for him to go back to England for Watford’s final match.

“It would be better for Park to comment on whether he will go back to Watford. He will make a decision after discussing the matter with his team.”

And speaking this afternoon, Hornets’ head of medical Cesarini said: “Park is having treatment in Korea. Everything was agreed with Watford, Arsenal and the player.

“It’s a toe injury and he is looking unlikely to play again this season.

“There is a constant dialogue with the player, with Arsenal and with us. I think there is a short time before the end of the season so it is very unlikely he will feature again.”

Park joined the Hornets on loan from Arsenal on the final day of the January transfer window but has made just one start and one substitute appearance for the Hornets, totalling 61 minutes of Championship action.
