Abbots Langley's first XI began the 2014 season with an eight-wicket win over Chipperfield on Saturday.
Put into bat first, Chipperfield struggled throughout, George Aguis taking five for 28 as Chipperfield were bowled out for 93.
The win was secured with ease by Abbots, with Blesson Ghoghe (48 not out) and Peter Metcalfe (16) impressing.
Abbots' second XI were also victorious, beating Chipperfield's second XI by five wickets.
Chipperfield were bowled out for 117, with Lewis Hodgins taking three for ten and Mick Reuth three for six.
Harry Khan's 71 not out guided Abbots to a comfortable victory.
