Moor Park Golf Club’s Harriet Key finished third in the Rookie of the Year category at the PGA’s annual graduation ceremony and says she has enjoyed her first year in professional golf.
Key, who is the assistant PGA professional at Moor Park, is enrolled in the PGA training programme and her achievements were recognised at an awards ceremony at Birmingham University.
She came third and was presented with a cheque for £400 by former PGA captain Beverly Lewis.
The Moor Park player was joined in the top three by Keir McNicoll of Gullane Golf Club and John Powell from Hampton Court Palace Golf Club, who finished in first and second place respectively.
