Daniel Pudil was a second-half substitute as Czech Republic earned a 2-2 draw in Finland yesterday evening after Matej Vydra had scored the visitors’ first goal.

The Hornets wing-back came on as 66th-minute replacement for David Limbersky to earn his 24th cap as the game ended all-square after an eventful first half had seen three goals scored in as many minutes.

Teemu Pukki scored twice inside three first-half minutes for the hosts but there was still time in between for former Hornets striker Vydra to net an equaliser.

The Czechs equalised for a second time in the 36th minute through Josef Husbauer.

Daniel Tozser will hope to add to his 20 caps today when Hungary face Denmark, while Jonathan Bond is in France with the England Under-21 squad who begin their Toulon Tournament campaign against Qatar at 6.30pm.
