On-tour Watford played their third and final game of a series against New Zealand's national side, who were in training for the World Cup finals.
Despite being down to 12 fit players, a situation that saw Steve Sims lining up alongside Martin Patching in central midfield, the Hornets prevailed 2-0 at the Mount Smart Stadium in Auckland, Luther Blissett scoring both goals.
