Lloyd Doyley played the full 90 minutes as a late goal condemned Jamaica to a 1-0 friendly defeat in Switzerland.

The Reggae Boyz, who also included former Hornet Adrian Mariappa, looked set to earn a draw until substitute Josip Drmic slotted home six minutes from time to seal the win for Ottmar Hitzfeld’s World Cup-bound side.

Earlier yesterday, Jonathan Bond had been an unused substitute as England Under-20s reached the third-fourth place play-off in the Toulon Tournament following a 1-1 draw with Colombia.

Cauley Woodrow gave Gareth Southgate’s side the lead but they were pegged back in the 69th minute when Jhoao Rodriguez levelled.

England will take on Portugal in the play-off tomorrow afternoon.
