Rory Akers won Iruka Judo Club’s Iruka Cup at their presentation evening.
The Iruka Cup is awarded by the Watford-based club to the individual deemed the outstanding player for their achievement and support.
Brendan McGee won the Tony Ball Cup, presented to those who who have shown outstanding commitment and achievement during the year.
In the competition player category, awarded to the top junior competition player of the year, Yacine Sifi came out on top.
It was a double success for Sifi, who also triumphed in the most-improved player category.
Cameron Cox scooped the club player award for his efforts in supporting other members.
David Ariffin’s high standard of judo was recognised with the technical player award, whilst there was a special achievement award for Akers and a coaching award for Sophie Ellis.
The club is based at Watford Fields Junior School and is recognised by Bristish Judo Association.
