Plumridge retains Rickmansworth Golf Club's Montesole Cup
Ben Plumridge of Rickmansworth Golf Club has won the club’s annual Montesole Cup for a second year in succession.
Plumridge came out on top with a 36-hole total of 76 points, playing off a handicap of seven.
Currently studying at Birmingham University, Plumridge also works part-time in the pro shop at Rickmansworth and won the trophy by three points from runner-up Graham Simon.
George Rocca triumphed in Division One of the men’s June Medal at Little Hay Golf Club.
A nett score of 69 was enough to land Rocca the win, with Matthew Armstrong coming in second with a score of 69 also.
