Lloyd Doyley could not stem the tide as Jamaica were thrashed 8-0 by France in Lille last night.

The centre-half played the full 90 minutes for Winfried Schafer's side as they were humbled by Les Bleus in their final World Cup warm-up match.

Goals from Yohan Cabaye and Blaise Matuidi had France 2-0 up inside 20 minutes before Karim Benzema and Olivier Giroud took the game out of sight.

Benzema and Matuidi then doubled up before substitute Antoine Griezmann added a brace from the bench to round off the scoring for Didier Deschamps' men.

Ex-Hornets Aidy Mariappa and Joel Grant both started and completed the full 90 minutes for the beleaguered Reggae Boys.

Daniel Tozser missed out through injury once again as Hungary swept aside Kazakhstan 3-0, with Tamas Priskin scoring for the Magyars.

Essaid Belkalem is the next Hornet hoping to be in international action as Algeria kick-off their World Cup against Belgium on June 17.

The Desert Foxes also take on South Korea and Russia in Group H.
