Watford Harriers’ Remi Jessop won the sprint double to add to her School County Championship silver medal at the Eastern Young Athletes League (EYAL) meeting in Hemel Hempstead.
Jessop, who picked up her silver in the 100m, put in an outstanding performance to claim both the 100m and 200m in the A string Under-15s.
Despite finishing seventh out of eight, there were some strong individual performances by the Harriers girls and boys at the event that took place on Sunday.
In the Under-13s, Grace Ingles improved on her second place finish in the 1500m at the last meet in Luton by taking first place on the track and then winning the B string high jump.
The Harriers won the discus Under-15s, with Jess Emery picking up first place in the A string and Molly Jarvis winning the B string.
Callum Woodage jumped 2.30m to triumph in the A string Under-15s pole vault, whilst Thomas Minns ran the Under-13s B string 200m in a time of 29.4 to win at his first EYAL event.
The next EYAL meeting is scheduled for July 13 in Stevenage.
