With four successful rinks, the Millwood Bowling Club's Munro Cup squad chalked up an impressive 34-shot win over their Vale rivals.
Building on a two-shot advantage after four ends, Millwood steadily forged ahead to win the fifth of eight cup games this summer and secure maximum points.
After an away game against Penarth last night (Wednesday), Millwood entertain Barry Athletic on July 2.

THOMASTOWN v MILLWOOD
After a glorious afternoon on a very fast running green, which most of the Millwood bowlers found difficult early on, the visitors picked up just two points from a narrow seven-shot Municipal League 3 defeat.
Trailing by 15 shots at one stage, Millwood fought back well in the middle and later stages.
This Saturday the Barry side entertain Gelligaled.

MILLWOOD A v SPLOTT PHOENIX
Entertaining the Cardiff side in a Municipal League 5 game, Millwood A edged home by two shots to pick up 10 out of 14 points.
Trailing by 11 shots on the 10th and 15th ends, the Barry side rallied in the later stages and were successful despite being a man shot on one rink.
Next Saturday the A side are away to Llantrisant.
