Watford have considered a move for Blackpool goalkeeper Matt Gilks but we understand no contract offer has been made.
The Blackpool Gazette reported the Hornets and two League One clubs are interested in signing the 32-year-old, who won several individual awards for the 2013/14 campaign.
But we have been told no offer has been made to the out-of-contract Scotland international and he is one of several players they are interested in.
The Golden Boys are keen to sign another home-grown goalkeeper, with former Spurs man Heurelho Gomes and Jonathan Bond already at the club.
Last season's third choice, Gary Woods, is out of contract next week and whilst they haven't ruled out re-signing the former Manchester United goalkeeper, it appears unlikely.
