Only four Championship sides saw their average league attendance rise more than Watford’s last season.
An average of 15,514 supporters attended games at Vicarage Road during the previous campaign, an increase from 13,464 during the 2012/2013 campaign.
That rise meant the Hornets’ stadium was 89 per cent full on average – the joint second largest 'occupancy' total across the Football League last season.
Watford’s highest home attendance was 16,611 against Queens Park Rangers on December 29 whilst their lowest was 13,904 when Birmingham were the visitors on Tuesday, February 11.
Those totals meant the Hornets' crowd variation - where the lowest home gate equalled 90.7 per cent of the highest home gate of the season - was the second best in the Championship.
