Buckingham Road, Aylesbury was the unlikely scene of Gianluca Vialli's first game in charge of Watford.

The Italian took to the field in a cream suit surrounded by photographers, before his side, sporting a somewhat spartan new home strip, beay Aylesbury United 2-1 through goals from Heidar Helguson and Dominic Foley.

I've got a business trip to Lut*n this morning. I feel sick especially as I have had to drive 150 miles from home for the pleasure.

P.S: This story about every day in Watford's history really needs to get chopped during mid-summer

Do we have to keep being reminded that we had such an awful manager that helped so much to put us into administration, so often.

a bit of history now, I remember being so excited when GV was appointed, a great player does not always make a good manager as a great manager sometimes may not have been a prolific player....it was an ambitious time and it didnt work to plan.
