Watford FC still own the freehold for the Yellow and Red Lion pub on Vicarage Road but it will eventually be transferred to the liquidator for Laurence Bassini.
The Hornets agreed to give the pub to former owner Bassini as part of the Pozzos' takeover in 2012.
However, the club held on to the freehold because Bassini had his assets frozen as part his court proceedings with the Russo brothers.
Bassini was made bankrupt for a second time at the beginning of June and Watford this week confirmed the pub will eventually be transferred to the Stanmore businessman's liquidator.
