For the first time since being sent home from England’s tour of Australia in January, Steve Finn has been bowling with the national side.

It’s not been against India in the Test series however, the Watford-born fast bowler, pictured, trained with the squad and practiced in the nets at Lord’s on Wednesday.

The 25-year-old endured a tough winter after being sent home from England's 5-0 Ashes whitewash down under after his bowling action rendered him “unselectable” in the eyes of the England selectors.

However, the former Parmiter’s School pupil is being eased back into the international fold after impressing with Middlesex during the county season.

Finn has taken 40 wickets in the LV County Championship so far, with his best figures of six for 80 coming against Sussex in April.
