Watford have made an enquiry for Leicester City midfielder Andy King but were told he is not for sale.

Reports today suggested the Hornets had bid £1.2m for King but we have been told it was an enquiry, not an official offer.

King has been an integral part of Leicester’s success in recent years but the 25-year-old had to settle for a place on the bench for a large part of the second half of last season.

As previously reported, Watford are looking to sign another attack-minded centre midfielder as they look to challenge for automatic promotion.

The club are also keen to add another holding midfielder and a home-grown goalkeeper to their squad.

Leicester have seen a £6.5m bid for Watford striker Troy Deeney rejected. Read more here.

Exactly
... but unfortunately (for them) they are likely to want Deeney more than we need or want King.
In Tozser and Abdi, we have better already!

I'm not sure why we need another attacking midfielder. We've got Abdi plus one of Battocchio, Murray & McGugan...... actually, on second thoughts.
