Callum Shinkwin made a bright start to Le Vaudreuil Golf Challenge in France and ended his first round at five under par.
The Challenge Tour competition began yesterday (Thursday) and at the time of going to press, Shinkwin was fourth after shooting a round of 66. Croxley Green’s Sam Little was also in action at the event and he was one under par after his first round of 70. Last weekend, Little finished in joint 23rd place at the Swiss Challenge while Shinkwin was further down the field in 66th.
The event was held at Golf Sempachersee and Little ended on five under par while Shinkwin carded two over par.
