Watford’s Under-15s claimed the first win of their Milk Cup campaign as they defeated the United States' Global Premier Academy 1-0 in Northern Ireland.

A 57th minute free kick from Dion Pereira was all that separated the two sides at Anderson Park yesterday.

The Golden Boys' next fixture in the junior section of the competition sees the side take on Dundalk at Roe Mill today.

Waford: Lacy; Fadahunsi (Merridan, HT), Paul-Jones, Cathline, Cook, Rogers, Pereira, Charles (Stray, 45), Thomas, Zaineddine (Price, 42), Wickenden.

Unused substitutes : Sole, Paul-Antwi, Jones, Sancho.
