Michael Foley stole the show as Bushey continued their 150th anniversary celebrations by beating the Marylebone Cricket Club at Eastbury Road on Sunday.
Having won the toss and electing to bat first, the MCC were restricted well by the bowling of Ali and Qamar Shahad early on, before Lakhmir Singh (two for 52) enjoyed some success in the afternoon.
Marc Reingold (60) laid the foundations before a late onslaught from J Wileman (90) saw the MCC declare on 229 for five.
Narenda Gogna (33) and James Lyons (27) opened the batting in solid fashion before Foley came to the crease. Eight fours and two sixes saw Foley race to his half century from just 36 deliveries before motoring towards his ton after 70 balls.
Singh also scored quickly to help build the Bushey innings, making 35 from 26 balls, but it was Foley who stole the headlines as he finished with an unbeaten 112 as the hosts closed on 231 for seven.
