Berkhamstead recorded their first win of the Spartan South Midlands Premier Division season against Hadley last Saturday but they had to wait until injury time to seal a 3-2 victory and grab all three points.
Berko started strongly. Josh Chamberlain hit the post after five minutes before he found the back of the net soon after to put the visitors ahead.
The Comrades dominated the first half. Courtney Massay fired a number of free kicks over the crossbar and BJ Christie did score only for his effort to be ruled out for offside.
Hadley managed to fight back before the half time whistle and Ivan Machedo thought he had equalised but his goal was also ruled out.
But the home side found their feet in the second period and they levelled when a counter-attack freed Machedo on the right and he slotted home a low shot.
Berko delivered an immediate response when Massay and Chamberlain combined and Christie finished.
The lead was short-lived as Kieran Smith scored for the hosts but James Towell made it a jubilant afternoon for Berkhamstead when his left footed effort sailed past the Hadley keeper in the dying moments.
