Watford Ladies visit Aston Villa on Sunday looking to pick up their fourth consecutive away win in Women’s Super League 2.

The Golden Girls have secured victories at London Bees, Oxford United and Yeovil Town and also clinched three points at Durham earlier in the campaign.

A win at Villa, who play their home games at Sutton Coldfield Town, would seal a fifth on the road for John Salomon’s side.

In the meeting between the two teams earlier in the season, the points were shared with a 1-1 draw at Berkhamsted.

Jo Wilson opened the scoring for the Hornets that day but the hosts were pegged back by a Beth Merrick equaliser.

Meanwhile, Megan Wynne and Josie Green have been called up to the Wales squad by manager Jarmo Matikainen for their crucial World Cup qualifier against England, which is played tonight.

Green has won nine caps for her country while Wynne has made five appearances for her national side.

Both have been regulars in the Wales squad during their World Cup qualifying campaign and a victory over England keeps their hopes of automatically qualifying for the tournament alive.

The Golden Girls will be hosting their first ever family fun day when the Golden Girls take on Durham on Sunday, August 31.

The match kicks off at 1pm and further information and events and activities will be announced in the lead up to the game.
