Kings Langley advanced in the FA Cup as they came from two goals behind to defeat Bedford 3-2 in the extra preliminary round.

Kings edged the chances in a dour first half but went into the interval behind after Ashley Kersey put Bedford ahead.

Langley failed to improve in the second period and conceded again in the 57th minute when Luigi Rocco fired home from the right flank.

The turning point in the contest arrived via a clever back-heel from Mitchell Weiss which allowed Alex Campana the opportunity to rifle his shot into the net.

Kings’ confidence then flowed and they levelled in the 69th minute. A series of one-touch passes eventual saw Tom Carter receive the ball and his shot flew past Aaron Bodger.

Langley were now in control and in the final minute the visitors completed the turnaround. Danny Hutchins’ run left defenders in his wake and he then squared to Nick Jackson whose precision shot found the net.
